Veterinary Nurses and Veterinary Nurse Assistants are the "right hand" in every clinic, and ours are no exception! Our Nurses and Assistants assist the Doctor with every aspect of your pet's care. Their duties and responsibilities include: recording a thorough medical history for every patient, client education, assisting in the exam room, obtaining diagnostic samples for testing, performing in-house testing, submitting samples to outside labs for testing, performing comprehensive dental cleanings, taking and developing x-rays, preparing for and assisting in surgery, caring for hospitalized patients, overseeing the care of boarding patients, filling prescriptions, reviewing medical recommendations with clients, and many other duties too numerous to list! |

Becky Clark, Nurse Supervisor
Websites and Control Drug Maintenance
Joined our team in 2006 and has worked in the animal field since 1996. Her passion for avian and exotics started when she worked in a parrot specialty store and started volunteering with tortoise/reptile rehabilitation. This soon grew into a desire to become a veterinary technician in 2003.
She shares her home with chihuahuas, birds, fish, frogs, tortoises, and bearded dragons.

Pam Hildebrand, CVA - Nurse
Surgery Suite Maintenance
Joined our team in 2006 as a CSR and quickly gained experience assisting the doctors and nurses. She was promoted to a Nurse position and received a diploma for veterinary assisting in 2007 from Penn Foster College. Her passion for helping animals started as a young child rehabilitating injured wildlife in her hometown and sparked her desire to work in the veterinary field. Her areas of interest include avian/exotic husbandry, critical patient care, oncology, orthopedics, surgerical and dental procedures. Her lifelong dream is to one day care for exotic cats, especially tigers.
She shares her home with 2 birds, 2 cats, and 2 dogs

Amanda Bennett , Nurse
Diagnostic Lab Equipment Maintenance
Joined our team in 2008 and has experience volunteering at the Dallas Zoo since 1998. She became a veterinary technician in 2004 and has a deep passion for working with aggressive breeds. Amanda is currently studying to become a zoologicial doctor focusing on research with large cats.
She shares her home with 2 dogs, 2 cats, and a red tail boa.

Inventory Manager
Joined our team in 2006 and has a passion for horses and guinea pigs. She has a Bachelor's of Science degree with a major in animal science from Louisiana Tech University.
She shares her home with a Quaker Parrot and a cat.

Angie Jones, Nurse
Food Manager
Joined our team in 2008 and started her career as a veterinary technician in the early 1990s. She has a deep passion for German Shepherds.
She shares her home with an elderly pekingnese.

Katie McClure, Nurse
Joined our team in 2007 and has a deep love for black labradors and cocker spaniels.
She shares her home with 3 dogs and 2 cats.

Sable Murry, Nurse
Joined our team in 2005 as a kennel technician and quickly showed interest in assisting the Nurses. She was soon promoted to the nurse team and has continued to gain knowlege and experience towards her goal of going to school to become a veterinarian. She received her Bachelor's of Science degree with a major in animal science from Texas Tech University. Her passion lies in geriatric medicine.
She shares her home with a black labrador and a cat.
